Just Another 24 Hours

Ever had one of those days where you think to yourself, “Wow, I really suck as a homeschooling mom…”?

I know you have.

I have.

If you haven’t, I’d really like to meet you in person and discuss what makes you awesome because I need to get a swig of that.

All kidding aside, none of us really suck as homeschooling moms, and we might not ever feel that disgusted with ourselves, but there are always days that don’t go quite as planned.  Then there are those days that run so smoothly you sit back and realize that this is why you do this.  It’s a mixed bag and we do it because we love our child(ren).

If you’re anything like me, you love peeking into the lives of other homeschoolers and seeing what they do on any given day.  And I’m not talking the glossy-made-for-magazines version, I’m talking just any random day.

Well now you can.

Mary Grace over at BOOKS and BAIRNS is hosting Just Another 24 Hours in the Homeschooling Life from November 22nd to December 3rd.

To participate, pick a day, any day, and post about everything you did in that 24 hour period. The good, the bad, the messy, the trivial, the insanity, all of it.

Like I could write about how I threw up my hands in frustration {figuratively, of course} at the end of last week {post still to come} and decided two days of craft fairs and shopping was way more fun than doing school.

Write a post, slap up some pictures, and then head over to Mary Grace’s blog and link up!
