Here’s our “kid friendly summer craft!”

Solar Paper Kit One of Babydoll’s favorite crafts is using solar print paper to make various prints.  We’re fairly new to solar print paper {Daddy introduced it to Babydoll recently}, but Babydoll’s in love!

Babydoll usually heads outside to find several “pieces” of nature and combines those with prints that come in the kit.

Ready for the sunThen it’s time to sit and wait…

and wait…

More waiting

As soon as the blue paper turns white {usually 3 – 5 minutes for us}, you rush it inside and remove your items.

Rinsing it in water stops the reaction.

For the record, those dishes are clean...

After it’s rinsed, you dry it with a towel and let it sit till it’s completely dry.

DryingHere’s Babydoll with another one of her creations.

Solar printYou can use all sorts of things to make prints on the paper.  Babydoll really enjoys heading outside to find all sorts of things in nature to make pretty prints with.

You can find solar print paper for sale in many places, just search for “solar print paper” on Google!

Have a kid friendly summer craft you’d like to share?
