Prosperity’s Kitchen Mission 3: Set Your Goals

Mission 3

I’m a huge fan of goals.  I may not always set them, or get them out of my head, but I appreciate the point behind them!

That’s why I loved this mission: it made us focus on our business goals, including a Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal {BHAG}.

It was fun. It was challenging. It was scary.

Thinking about a huge goal is crazy scary. You may or may not ever get there, but it’s real when you put it down on paper {or computer screen}.

Episode 3: Goals and Metrics

At first glance I thought this episode was going to be all about Google Analytics.  And I was a little sad when it wasn’t.

Well, the egg is on my face because the episode was so much more helpful.  I not only learned some features of Google Analytics that will be super helpful for me, I also learned about goal setting and metrics you should be tracking for your business in general.

Take a look!

My Mission Project

This week’s mission had us outlining three “normal” goals and one BHAG.

I put this off for as long as I could.  But in the end I’m glad I did it.

Prosperity’s Kitchen Mission 2: A Brand Manifesto

PK Mission 2

Alright, it’s time for me to catch you guys up on Prosperity’s Kitchen!

We’re now in Week 5, but I really wanted to share all the info with you, so that’s the reason for the Week 2 post.

Episode 2: Branding

If you have a business you probably struggle with branding.  It’s tough.

It’s not just about the visuals.  It’s about the core values and vision and mission of your business.

I’m by no means an expert, so check out the great video below for tons of great stuff on branding.

You can find the bonus reading/material here.

My Mission Project

The mission for this week was to create a brand manifesto.  Really show/tell what your brand is about.

I’m kind of “redoing” Sweet Phenomena.  Although, I don’t really know exactly how I want to accomplish what I want to do.

I’m figuring it out as we film.  It’s definitely a struggle.

But, I felt this exercise helped give me much more clarity.  I’m still not there, but I’m getting closer!

Feel free to check out my manifesto!

Super Big Blissdom News

I'm a BlissDom Community LeaderSo I can finally, finally let the cat out of the bag:

I’m a Blissdom Community Leader this year!

Can I get a fist bump?

If you were a reader last year, you remember that I went to Blissdom and I loved it.

I didn’t think I’d be going this year since the location has changed and ticket prices went up.  I was sad.

But now I find myself a Business/Entrepreneur Community Leader and I’m so excited to share all the awesome knowledge I’ve gained from so many great entrepreneurs.

I love being in business for myself, and recently I’ve been investing in my education and I’m seeing results.  It’s an exciting time.

Are you going to Blissdom?  Will I see you?

I’d love to connect!
