Goals, Yo

We all know we should set goals.  And by now we’ve all heard that they should be SMART {Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound} goals.

Measurable.  In my opinion, probably one of the most important.  You can have everything else in place, but if you don’t know how you’re going to measure your success, you don’t know when you’ve achieved it.

That’s what this week’s episode of Prosperity’s Kitchen was about: metrics AKA measuring.  You should definitely go here to watch the full episode, as there was so much covered I’m not rehashing it here.

Suffice it to say that you can measure success in a variety of ways, but you need to measure it.

And those SMART goal things mentioned above?  They’ll help you feel like you’re actually doing something to make progress, not doing something for doing something’s sake.

A Few of My Goals

Our mission this week was to outline three of our SMART goals and a BHAG {Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal}.

A freaking ton of thought went into these goals, which of course translates into a freaking ton of text.  At least if you’re me.

If you’d like to see super-specifics about each goal, you can download my brainstorming spreadsheet here.

Otherwise, clickity click below for a super-fun presentation, because, well, that’s how we roll here.

Oh, and remember to click the full-screen button at the bottom right of the screen if you really want to blow your mind.  Or just see the presentation bigger.
