Prosperity’s Kitchen Mission 1: My Ideal Client

Market Research Badge

Market Research Badge

I announced over in this post that I’d be taking part in Prosperity’s Kitchen, a crazy, fresh, new little online show designed to help us on our journey to being awesome.

Business awesome.  Well heck, personal awesome too.

You can’t really do things like collaborate with others if you’re a totally selfish a-hole.

Anyway, I’m going to be blogging about my experiences a week behind, mainly because I just don’t have enough time to do it the week of.

And there’s a really good reason you should care about the sharing:  all this freaking awesome info is yours, free.  Sure, you can’t compete for the prizes, but you get to view the videos, PDFs, and more, FREE.

Episode 1: Market Research & Your Ideal Client

I’m going to be honest: I was loathing this episode.  I like research, and I like to learn, but this just seemed so stale.

Oh em gee, I was wrong.  This ended up being a fantastic start to the competition.

You can view the episode below.

Ideal Client

Who is my ideal client? Who is your ideal client?

Everyone’s ideal client will be different, and that’s what makes our world go ’round.

Have you ever stopped to identify your ideal client?

It’s heavy.  There is a ton of research and thought that goes into it, but let me tell you, when you do it, you get that clarity everyone’s always talking about.

I got so totally excited after completing the mission, which was to put together a Pinterest board illustrating your ideal client.

I chose to focus on the domestic violence resources I’d like to put together, since it definitely carries a specific group of people.

You can take a look at all the Pinterest boards submitted by visiting this page.

Initial Thoughts

I was excited to be chosen to a part of Prosperity’s Kitchen, more for the education I’m receiving, and less for the winning.

I love to win.  But everyone can’t win the prize; that’s life.

Know what we all CAN win though? The fabulous access to the mentors and the education we’re receiving.

I thank my lucky stars each day that I’m part of this program.  I already know it’s going to be pivotal in pushing me forward.

Oh, and I’m more excited about getting my badge each week than anything.  I want every. single. one.

Who knew that would be one of the most fun parts?
